The Community Shop will offer a place for local artisans and craftspeople to sell their lovingly made handmade

We want to see locally made handmade clothes, toys, jewellery, jams, cupcakes and everything else you can imagine!!

Products could be sold on commission or craftspeople could rent a space. The commission taken would support the ongoing cost of the shop and hopefully help with the community space expenses as well.

We’ve already had a heap of absolutely wonderful people offer to mind the shop. And again, I would hope we can use a time bank to repay their generosity, perhaps being in exchange for workshops.

We could also sell quality refurbished vintage clothes and household goods.

There are so many people super excited about the shop! We’re in the process now of finding a home for it.
