Hello Everyone.
Over the coming days and weeks – you will see some changes to the website.. All new and refreshing. Some menu items will be hidden and unavailable as they are not applicable at this point in time.

We are looking at the creation of a community garden as agreed upon at the AGM last week and community consultations earlier this year(2014)

All members will be advised via mail, email, this website and/or Facebook on the progress of the search for a site.

The executive committee hopes that you will be patient while we do some initial restructure of planning and a timeline.

In the coming days – members will receive a survey that on return can be used to move us into a new exciting direction.

Our first group!!

We are so excited to announce the first member-run group – Natural Parenting & Eco-Living

Come along to Warwick Collective Inc, shop 74a Fitzroy St, from 10am Thursday, for a themed natural parenting and eco-living discussion between 10.30-11.30am.

Enjoy a coffee and relax in the garden outside the cafe with your children and have a chat about Modern Cloth Nappies – no pinning, soaking or folding required! Come along to share your experiences or for an introduction to the variety of styles available and basic washing instructions. Join in the discussion of the financial, environmental and health benefits of using reusable cloth nappies.

EDGE Fest

EDGE Fest was a huge amount of fun today at the Warwick Youth Space. Six hours of live music and DJing, as well as markets, food and kids entertainment.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect either!

Thanks to Jen who came out from Toowoomba to do the face painting. (Doesn’t Ceda look fantastic!?)

Jonno did a great job MC’ing the day, and Caralee, Chris, Helen and myself manned the Warwick Collective market.

We had an absolute blast and can’t wait until the next one in October.

New art supplies

Thank you to Rach and her cute little mini-mes for donating art supplies! We hope to fill our wall with doodles and drawings by friends of all ages who drop into the cafe.

Art is great for well-being, or even leave a message or thought.

Upcycling the tables

The lovely Sue has come in early after a week of illness, and she’s straight into it prettying up some donated tables.

Thanks Sue and thanks Sandy and Steve for donating them! They were fantastic on the footpath during JJJ. Guest were able to sit in the sun reading their papers, sipping on green tea (from green cups). It was so cosmopolitan!

We had a huge response to the community garden survey.

It’s never too late though. If you missed doing it, just fill it in now.

We’re in the process of doing up a draft design and will send it around to interested people to get feedback.

Warwick Jumpers & Jazz

Jumpers & Jazz is well and truly underway – what a fantastic day!!!

These lovely ladies, who had adventures on the Darling Downs Dasher this morning, liked our cafe so much that they came in for lunch and afternoon tea!

We also renamed the shop today (unoffically!) to “The Shop Full of Jules” – with Giuia, Julia and Julie all working today with a customer called Julius!

We also had our share of disasters – matching outfits.

So our first JJJ weekend has started well. We were full most of the day and completely rushed off our feet, but it was marvelous.

I wonder what’s in store for tomorrow??

NAIDOC Week Dinner

Todd and I were at the RSL this morning dropping off a heap of rosemary branches for tonight’s NAIDOC dinner. They are planning to make wreaths of half wattle and half rosemary, which sounds very pretty indeed.

Warwick Collective are very proud to be auspicing this special event and wish organisers and guests a wonderful evening.

We have fairy lights!
